CYAC HOME

The CYAC Swim Team is dedicated to providing all swimmers in the greater Charlottesville/Albemarle area of Virginia a positive and healthy swimming experience. We are proud of the level of experience and knowledge of our coaches and we offer the levels of training and a flexible practice schedule to meet the individual needs of our swimmers.

CYAC offers the greatest range of competitive swimming opportunities in the area, including both USA Swimming and YMCA Swimming meets! In addition, fall, winter, spring and summer practice and meet schedules are available.

We challenge all persons involved in the swim team program to demonstrate the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. We stress trying your best, achieving goals, team participation, sportsmanship, and having fun.

The YMCA offers financial assistance by confidential application to those who cannot afford the full cost of program fees and membership.

 

Welcome to the 2012-2013 CYAC Swim Season!

If you are looking for a swim team that:

• trains swimmers from 6 through 19 years of age;
• is committed to excellent swimming with a strong emphasis on technique and age-appropriate training;
• works with swimmers to help them meet their individual goals;
• offers two practice locations - CROW Pool in Charlottesville and the Crozet PARC/YMCA Pool;
• emphasizes the team aspects of swimming; then....
• CYAC will be the right swim experience for you!
