- Registration fee: $50 per camper
WEEKLY CAMP FEES:
- $150 per week – Brooks YMCA members
- $175 per week – Non-members
- To qualify for the YMCA Member discount on Summer Camp, please ensure your YMCA membership is active before registering for camp and continue your membership throughout the camp duration.
WEEKLY DEPOSIT:
- A $25/week deposit is required to reserve a spot in camp. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward the balance due.

* YMCA Camp is closed Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, July 4.
CIT Timeline
1. Apply for the CIT Program through our Piedmont Family YMCA website.
2. Complete the CIT Application no later than May 25.
3. Acceptance letters sent out by May 25.
4. Attend in person training with Camp counselors on June 13.
Weekly payments will be drafted by the Summer Day Camp Program on Thursdays prior to session attending. There will be no refunds if a child does not attend. There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks or charges. A two-week notice is required for any child who is voluntarily withdrawn from the program.

Financial Assistance
Although there is no hard deadline to apply for financial assistance, we ask for a minimum of 5 business days for us to review financial assistance applications. Applications must be reviewed, in good order, and payment received before the child may attend camp.
What is the CIT Program?
The CIT (Counselor-In-Training) Program is a 3-week initiative designed for teens aged 13-15, offering them a chance to enhance leadership skills and assist counselors with younger campers. Participants develop and hone the leadership abilities necessary for becoming camp counselors.
Is CIT like the LIT camp from last year?
It is similar; however, the CIT program provides more intensive hands-on training, preparing teens for future roles as YMCA Camp Counselors.
Can my teen select different weeks in different sessions?
No, participants must select either session 1 or session 2 in its entirety.
Does my teen have to attend all three weeks of the program?
Yes, full participation in all three weeks is required for the CIT program. For a more flexible teen camp option, consider our Teen eXtreme camp.
What are the session dates?
Session dates are June 17- July 5 and July 8-July 26. Attendance for the full three weeks of a session is mandatory.
Do CIT teens take field trips?
Yes, they will take a weekly trip to Putt Putt mini golf and two additional field trips.

What does my CIT need to bring daily?
A water bottle bathing suit, towel, lunch, two snacks, and a positive attitude.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, CIT are required to wear their CIT shirt daily, black active performance bottoms, and sneakers.
What is the age requirement for CIT?
Teens must be at least 13 years old by June 1st to participate.
