- Participants registered in programs may receive a full refund if the refund request is submitted fourteen (14) calendar days or more prior to the start of the first session.
- Refund requests submitted between seven (7) and thirteen (13) calendar days prior to the start of the first session are eligible for a refund in the form of a system credit only.
- Refund requests submitted less than seven (7) days prior to the first session's start are not eligible for refunds.
- Participants in sport leagues may receive a full refund if the refund request is submitted prior to team placements. Refunds requested after this period will be denied.
- Prorated refunds may be issued if the department is unable to provide the advertised number of sessions due to cancellations.
- All deposits and registration fees are non-refundable.
As long as space permits, participants can register after a program starts. Registration requirements still apply. For our team sports programs, a $25.00 late fee will be charged to all late registrations.
Members and program participants that have received a system credit can apply the credit to any YMCA program or membership by contacting membership@piedmontymca.org or speaking to an applicable Program Director. System credits expire one-year after they are awarded.
If you provided your email address, upon registration, you will be e-mailed a receipt. The YMCA does not send out confirmations. Once you register for a program, you are in that program unless you hear otherwise. If you have any questions about what session or what class you are registered for, you may contact the Y office at 434-974-9622. For team sports, your coach will contact you directly.
Refund Policy
If the YMCA cancels a program due to low participation, a full refund will be issued.
