Summer Camp Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Drop-off: 7:30am - 8:30am
Pick-up: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
REGISTRATION FEES
Non-refundable & required for each participant.
- Registration fee: $50 per camper
WEEKLY CAMP FEES:
- $225 per week – Brooks YMCA members
- $275 per week – Non-members
- To qualify for the YMCA Member discount on Summer Camp, please ensure your YMCA membership is active before registering for camp and continue your membership throughout the camp duration.
WEEKLY DEPOSIT:
- A $25/week deposit is required to reserve a spot in camp. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward the balance due.
Weekly payments will be drafted by the Summer Day Camp Program on Thursdays prior to session attending. There will be no refunds if a child does not attend. There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks or charges. A two-week notice is required for any child who is voluntarily withdrawn from the program.
Financial Assistance
Although there is no hard deadline to apply for financial assistance, we ask for a minimum of 5 business days for us to review financial assistance applications. Applications must be reviewed, in good order, and payment received before the child may attend camp.
What items should I bring?
- Closed toe shoes for outdoor activities
- Water bottle (labeled with name and date)
- Lunch & 2 snacks (nut-free)
- Swimwear, change of clothes & towel (on swim days)
- Please apply sunscreen before camp each day.
How do I qualify for a YMCA member discount?
To qualify for the YMCA Member discount on Summer Camp, please ensure your YMCA membership is active before registering for camp and continue your membership for the duration of camp.
How will I get updates about camp?
You will receive two reminder emails about each week of Y camp: one on Monday each week confirming that your child is registered for the following week, and one on Wednesday or Thursday with details about field trips, swimming, etc. for the following week.
When do campers swim?
Ages 5-7: Campers swim twice a week on Tuesday and Thursdays. Swimming begins at 10 am. Please send your camper with swimwear, change of clothes, and a towel.
Ages 8-9: Campers swim twice a week on Monday and Wednesday. Swimming begins at 10 am. Please send your camper with swimwear, change of clothes, and a towel.
ADDITIONAL SWIMMING: Field trips sometimes involve water/swimming and will require swimwear. Please look carefully at your emails from Y camp to see when to send swimwear with your child.
How do I pay for Kona Ice?
Kona Ice comes on Fridays. The cost is $3 per camper. If you would like your child to participate, please pay through the link by Thursday 12pm: https://bit.ly/KonaIce2025
What training do camp staff have?
Our camp staff are CPR-certified and attend 40-hrs of training before camp begins, including Safety Around Water training. Select camp staff have Medication Administration Training Level 1. We do not have staff MAT-certified beyond this level.
What if I need to send medication with my child?
If your child has daily medication or rescue medication needed during camp, you will need:
- to bring the unexpired medication in its original container
- a medication authorization form if attending our camp more than 5 days (see registration section)
- a FARE form signed by a physician if attending our camp more than 5 days (see registration section)
What other forms do I need to complete?
For your child to attend camp on a Monday, you must ensure all required fields in CampDoc are 100% complete with the required documents by end of day on the Thursday prior. This only needs to be done once per summer. Please see registration section for more details.
